Biggles looked up. Satisfied that he had the rapt attention of everyone in the room, he returned to the letter from Father Christmas.

Ginger looked around the room. "But there's nothing here that shouldn't be," he declared.

Biggles pointed to the box and continued reading.

'In this box is a thing that you will need. You won't need it for quite a while, but the time will come when you do. Keep it safe and to hand so that you can open it when it is right to do so.
