I remember this, too. I remember working out in quite some detail something to do with the date based on how long people said 'Happy New Year' for and I cannot remember which story. Air Police days.

We're going to get a comfy new carriage on the La'al Ratty. I know that quite a few of us have travelled on this, so what do we think? Is it an improvement?

It looks very impressive. Certainly in inclement weather it would be a lot warmer but I can't help feeling it's a little OTT.

That's rather how I feel about it. Lovely, but a bit posh. Maybe I'll change my mind if I'm ever in it.

Wow, SS, that's really cool. Mr. KK is an aerospace engineer and I just showed it to him. He was very interested. We are not that awake yet (it's not quite 7am) but that made both of us go "wow!"

Thank you very much everyone. I've nothing planned as we're in the middle of painting the kitchen but I will enjoy myself regardless.

Thanks. We're hovering around zero so an extra few degrees would be nice. Quite summery, in fact.

Have you ever been in a sauna which someone has set as hot as it can go? Imagine that, only you can't open the door and leave. Now imagine that all day, and then into the night....and trying to sleep through it.

In the middle of a European Winter that probably sounds great, but trust me, you weary of it pretty quickly.

Thanks for offer Tiffinata. Expect a knock at your door sometime soon.
Yes, I suppose your heat is a bit much, but I've just got back in after a day out in Rochester, and feel that when I finally take my boots off, they may rattle because of the frozen toes rolling around inside them. Perhaps just an hour or so of oppression would help nicely.

I love saunas and steam rooms, but ten minutes at a time is enough. I'm a confirmed meanderer between hot and tepid (not cold).
