I liked it. I felt it was a good welcome for people.

Different topic- Are we able to get the 'view new posts' tab back?

To me the Portal page is like the cover of a book. It catches the eye and draws the reader in. It's not essential but desirable, I think.

It's like having a dust jacket. It makes everything looks a little tidier and of a higher standard.
'Major Bigglesworth,' said von Stalhein coldly, 'there are times when I seriously wonder if you were created by the devil just to annoy me.'

I liked the Portal page. It is taking a while to find all the hidden menus. I am not really up to speed with modern technology.

There will be a learning curve, but once we get used to it, we'll be OK.
"For goodness sake stop that Yankee drawl, or you'll have us all doing it before you've finished."
"OK baby - sorry - I mean, righto."
"That's better."

I like the portal page. I usually don't like them, but this one is worth looking at. Usually they are just an extra click I can do without, but this is nice with the illustrations etc.

I'm actually missing it. It serves as a sort of a landing stage from which to launch yourself off.
