P.S. Which reminds me, I had no idea the 'Biggles Biplane' was originally built in the 1960's as part of pre-production & planning for a movie entitled Biggles Sweeps The Skies [apparently to have starred Edward Fox in the lead role].
Google tells me the movie was canned in 1969 due to problems with the weather in North Africa [where it it was meant to be filmed] & other budgeting issues. There is also a completed script somewhere in someone's possession...hmm. :thinking2:
Instead, the completed plane was used some years later in 1972-73 as one of the BE-2's in the 'Wings' TV series, before being sold to an owner in America, & eventually being wrecked in a crash in 1977. Fascinating! :D
