Re: Christmas in Mount Street - Reposted.

The little elf was an interactive viewer. He shouted at the tv as if the acts could hear him. He commented on the balloon animals a man was twisting together, criticising the shapes and proportions. He tried to persuade a dancing dog to obey his commands. He got terribly over-excited when a pair of ...

'I'd rather make a donation,' Algy sighed, pulling on his daypack. He'd followed Biggles's example and filled his Camel Back with brandy now Raymond had gone.

'You need to put the trees in detention for not being where they are supposed to be,' snapped Biggles. 'Tell them to release our friend or I set fire to them.'

Re: Christmas in Mount Street - Reposted.

Calmly, Biggles bent over and untied his laces, then he stood up, scooped up the elf and tied a piece of string around one of his ankles with the other end fastened to a candlestick on the mantelpiece so he appeared to have fallen whilst climbing it. Whistling, he pulled on his coat and went to work.

'This is more an investigation into Tricky Dicky,' Biggles grinned. 'The Chief wants us to find out what he's up to. Apparently comedy is the new rock and roll and Mr Knee may be involved with smuggling illegal substances.'

Re: The Faraway Tree Again

Biggles studied the garden before landing in a clear patch. Flying his balloon was playing merry heck with his arm muscles. He picked up some nearby canes and some dried grass.

Re: The Faraway Tree Again

Biggles flew his balloon directly over Algy then plummeted it down.

'Grab hold, Algy,' he cried.

Algy did so, and the balloon rose once more into the air, Biggles holding onto the balloon, Bertie holding onto Biggles' legs and Algy holding tight to Bertie's.

Re: The Faraway Tree Again

Bertie was using his trowel to poke potatoes from his wall but new spuds were falling into place almost as fast as he could knock them out.
